Use the menus described above to select the type of circuit and select the value you
wish to calculate by tapping the box to its right.
(Hint: While it is probably a good practise to always make these your first steps when using this form, it can be done at any time - if you forget to select before entering values into the fields you won't have to clear the form and start all over. Electrist will recalculate using the existing values anytime you change the Display setting.)
Write in the two unselected parameters:
- Xc or Xl: Reactance, capacitive (Xc) or inductive (Xl) depending on the Display menu setting
- f: Frequency
- C or L: Capacitance (C) or inductance (L) depending on the Display menu setting
The calculated value can also be copied directly to the the Impedance Calculator by tapping the Pass to Impedance menu item.
