Stories...Read or submit stories about "Stupid things you shouldn't have done!"

I think the most stupid thing I've ever done is:

  • Once I was at the bank drive-up window depositing my paycheck. Sitting there waiting, and looking out my dirty wind sheild gave me the brilliant idea to clean it off. So I pressed my wind sheild washer button, and the washer fluid sprayed all over the bank drive-up window! The bank teller had to come out and wipe it off. I was quite embarrassed!

  • This happened a long time ago, when I was in the 3rd grade. I was invited to spend the night at my buddy's house. It was my first sleep over and I was real excited. I was never allowed to accept sleep over invitations before because I had a problem with wetting the bed, but since I hadn't had an accident in over six months, my parents let me go this time. You can probably guess how this story turns out! I did indeed wet the bed that night at my buddy's house! but wait, it gets even worse! When I woke up that morning and discovered my accident, I was in a panic. I was sure my entire school would here about it, so I did the only thing I could think of. I grabbed the lamp from the night stand, and tried to dry the mattress with the heat from the light bulb. It did work, but unfortunately it burned a big hole in the mattress, and smoked up the whole room! I had to come clean about my accident, the whole school did find out about it, and I was never again invited to a sleep over. That tragic event forever changed my life, and now 23 years later I am a maintenance man in a "diaper factory"!
